3. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita
The Trevita is a modified version of the CCR. The modifications were made so that the car complied with California’s emission standards for sale on the US car market.
The Trevita delivers 806 horsepower while fully complying with global environmental and safety regulations. There have only been 29 produced and if you want one it will cost you $4.8 million.
4. Rolls-Royce Sweptail
Unfortunately, even if you raise the funds, it’s unlikely that there will ever be a Sweptail parked in your garage. There is only one in the world. The Sweptail is a 13 million dollar vehicle making it the second most expensive car in the world.
Rolls-Royce base the Sweptail on their 2008 Phantom Coupe and it was handbuilt over 4 years. Its 6.75 L V12 engine delivers 453 horsepower. It might not be the fastest car on the list, but its doors open backward!
5. Bugatti La Voiture Noire
This Bugatti is the most expensive car in the world. No Bugatti is cheap, with the ‘standard’ Chiron costing just less than $3 million. ‘La Voiture Noire’ translates to ‘the black car’.
It delivers a ridiculous 1,500 horsepower which can get from 0-60mph in under 3 seconds. It can cover 1/4 mile in under ten seconds. This car is so fast that no one has determined its top speed yet!
It’s a one-off tribute to Jean Bugatti’s very own Type 57 SC Atlantic that went missing in World War II. If you wanted to own the world’s most expensive car, then you’d need to part with 19 million dollars.
